Balancing Equations 25/1

As life is getting harder and harder, sometimes it's ok to let our left brain rest for a while... and start to develop our mysterious right brain, which is    daydreaming : )
To keep our brain in BALANCE

In BALANCE EQUATION, basically it shows the atom number is equal in each side ( right and left)
Without taking a balance, it's just a SKELETON EQUATION

Ex.
H    +   O2        =          H2O     (2O left and 1O right, which is not balance)
H    +   O2        =         2H2O      (2O left and 2O right, O's done, BUT consequently it also adds up the H)
4H  +   O2        =         2H2O   (O2 = O2,  4H = 4H ) DONE~
More
It has shown that both atoms in each side is equal.
MOREOVER,
Once we see   NO3, NO4, SO3, SO2, CO2 .....   < we can count on 1 per one compound in each side

Naming Compound Review 21/1

As everthing is coming back to the basic, "Naming Compound". It is possible to love it more.. : )
There are two different group of compound~

Ionic and Covalent,
Ionic (metal and NON - metal)  ;  Covalent (NON-metal and NON-metal)

Ionic naming RULE:
  • Second Element change the suffix into ( ide )  "EX, Chlorine > Chloride ; Oxygen > Oxide"
  • Th Roman numerals are included in the name of compound, which is the "CHARGE" of the element, basically, "what charge does the element use"

Covalent naming RULE:
- Second Element change the suffix into (ide) < same as Ionic compound : )
- No prefix is used if there is just one atom of the first element, otherwise, use it  : )
Ex. CO2 > Carbon dioxide
      S2O5 > disurphide pentaoxide

Element song, if this song is in my head for another 2 days, I am going to be so mad.......

Molar Volume of a gas at STP 11/1

As we know that~
There are many causes of changing volume, but so is gas?
gas changed - are depended on PRESSURE , TEMPERATURE
OR, basically we 'll call that "STP"

And now, we have to memorize that
"STP1" mole of gas = 22.4 L Volume

so, there are one formula to express that
" 22.4 gas V " / "1 mole"
or " 1mole " / "22.4 gas V"

by this formula,  now we can find out the "VOLUME"  ~~~~~

Diluting Solution to prepare workable solution

As the picture from above, it tells us that~
What kind of jobs do our brain do in certain part of it

Of cause, our brain will change all the time, it depends on the enviroment or the surrounding beside us,
but still, the number of nerve cells are still remain the same, as no matter how many changes occur in our brain :)

It's similiar to DILUTING SOLUTION, as we have to find out what's the diferent between
DILUTE / CONCENTRATION in a solution, but still, the mole of the solution will never change as the amount of the atoms or particles are always remain the same like our brain cell.

So, basicly,   M1L1 = M2L2 :
1: before DILUTING, 2: after DILUTING
As me know that Molarity x Volume = Mole,  and also as the mole will never change, that's how it comes :)

Yea, words enough , Video time~ have fun ~~

Molarity Concentration 5/1

Happy New Year~
Today I'd like to talk about "Molarity".
Molarity Concentration - It's the number of moles solute in one Liter of a solution. We use "M" to denote molar concentration and it has the units of "moles/ L"

As we know that, the unit of "moles/ L ", it tells us that.................................
when moles divide by Liters,  we can get "Molarity"

Also, by knowing it's a formula, we can switch them around to get what we want~

Lets take a look at this video
